BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Sanjaranda Bible college is unit of the Free Pentecostal Church of Tanzania (FPCT) which is a faith based organization /non-profit organization. FPCT organization is registered by the Ministry of Home affairs, as per Societies Ordinance, 1954. Sanjaranda Bible College is operating under certificate of registration SO. NO. 6640. The firm operates under the entity of FPCT with TIN Number 101-237-575. The local Tanzanians with good experience of local and international cooperation run the firm.

OUR AIM

We aim to train, offer relevant and sound theological knowledge to people in Africa to realize Holistic ministry and sustainable development with humility of Christ and fullness of the Holy Spirit. We aspire to see people are positively transformed, reconciled, community restored and God is glorified through his creation and His provisions.

STRATEGIC ALLIANCE

SBC has worked jointly with other learning institutions from in and out of the country in accreditation of our academics studies and various affiliations for the purposes of spearheading development of our venture.

RECENTLY CARRIED ASSIGNMENTS

Donor Funded Project

  • Empowering Small Scale Farmers in Itigi Division project phase 1 with Danish Mission Council of Development Department from 2010-2012
  • Empowering Small Scale Farmers in Itigi Division project phase 2 with Danish Empowering Small Scale Farmers in Itigi from 2013 -2015
  • Receiving agricultural equipment and machines from Heartland Community Church, USA in 2016.
  • Participated in all around village roads maintenance and clearance with College bulldozer. In the same we participated in care wildlife by rescuing three elephants that sank in the swamps at Kitaraka village.

INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE

  • For academic purposes all examinations are prepared, kept safe and given under supervision of the instructors.
  • Staff members prepare timetable and academic dean who in turn reports to the administration committee inspects teaching sessions.
  • As for farm activities soil management are carried out through test for soil composition, PH and texture to know the soil nutrients needed for high productivity.
  • We collaborate with local government extension officers for technical advice and consultations on farming activities.
  • Internal control mechanism was employed through annual auditing, monitoring and evaluations carried out.
  • Board meetings are regularly taking place as per constitutional demands for the monitoring of activities and results.

FIRM’S ABILITY TO UNDERTAKE ASSIGNMENT

  • There is enough human resource that is capable to manage the operations.
  • There is good and efficient farming equipment and heavy machines in place including combine harvester, bulldozer, big tractor and its attachment equipment.
  • Professional consultancy, experience, skills and knowledge are adequately in place.

OUR NEEDS AND DEMANDS

  • The need of an ample land for the modernized and the merchandise productivity as well as increasing models for learning and practices for the community around Sanjaranda area.

CONCLUSION

Through the lessons learnt out of the efforts with diverse stakeholders, our staffs have acquired competences and skills in collaborating and working with community for the development issues. We still pledge for further collaboration with all for the sake of spearhead the community development and country economy in general. We thank the authorities that without them we couldn’t make it.
